Introduction of IUI

Semen will be injected into the cavity of uterus after washing, separating and concentrating.

Sperm will be injected into the cavity of uterus after semen washing, separating and concentrating. Sperm will swim into oviduct by self and fertilized with oocyte.
According to the menstrual cycle to stimulate ovulation, the method of ovulation will use ovulate medicine or injection. After the follicle mature, inject hCG. IUI will be done after 34-36hours of hCG injection.

Suitable:

1. Woman who need at least one side of oviduct patent and ovulation function is normal.
2. Husband’s sperm need 1.5 ten millions/ml and motility must more than 40%.
3. Try pregnancy by self or simple pregnancy for more than half year and not pregnant yet.
4. People who have immune rejection problem.
5. People who have unknown reason.

The success rate of IUI:

The average success rate of each IUI cycle is 15-18%, try 2-3 cycles can increase the success rate. The success rate related to the quantity, motility of sperm and the quantity of oocyte.

However, it is unknown whether the mature oocyte release, the sperm pass into the oviduct, fertilization and stable implantation. Therefore, increase the IUI cycles, the accumulation of pregnancy success rate can either increase. Never give up because once failure, you should grasp the optimal pregnancy time!
